Many works by this abstract expressionist are untitled. These pieces are massive and meant to be so. I found myself wanting to sink into his works and the energy was exhilarating. The reduction of people and structures to their simplest forms reminded me of the final scenes in 2001: A Space Odyssey. The obelisk as life reduced to it's simplest form.
